The miniaturized quality data logger stores more than 2,000,000 data points by default and is able to simultaneously capture and record the four most important physical parameters temperature, humidity, pressure and 3-axis acceleration. In the models MSR145, MSR160 and MSR165, the storage capacitiy can be increased with an optional microSD card ((≥4GB) to over a billion measurements. Measured values can be transferred quickly via USB to a PC while still logging.
Each logger version can be equipped with a mix of internal and external sensors and/or analogue inputs used on many industry typical sensors. You can also select from two different battery sizes (260mAh and 900mAh).
- The basic data logger MSR145 is an all-round logger equipped with all the features described above.
- In addition to these features the MSR160 is also optimized for connection of analogue sensors, where signals can be recorded up to 1,000 times per second.
- The MSR165 is a data logger for shock, capable of measuring impact and vibration with up to 1,600 recordings per second.
MSR145 - All-round Logger
MSR145 - the universal all-round logger
The award-winning MSR145 is the world's first miniaturized quality data logger with integrated sensors for temperature, humidity, pressure and a 3-axis accelerometer.
Case, battery, measurement parameters and number of additional analogue inputs (internal and external) can be individually combined, so you only pay for what you really need!
Freely configurable measurement intervals of up to 50 recordings per second guarantee gap-free documentation of even the fastest events. For long-term measurements the MSR145 can be equipped with a 900 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery, allowing data recordings of up to two years.

MSR160 - Analogue Logger
MSR160 - the Analogue Logger
Four integrated analogue inputs, a fast sampling frequency combined with a huge memory capacity and a small form factor are the outstanding features of the MSR160 data logger. The analogue inputs of the robust mini loggers can be used to connect standard sensors with analogue outputs such as CO2, conductivity, pH and many others. A switchable supply is also available.
The logging frequency of this versatile logger can be as high as 1000 per second. If desired the analogue part can be supplemented with internal or external temperature, humidity and pressure sensors as well as an accelerometer. The optionally available microSD card allows the MSR 160 to record more than one billion values. Light-weight (approx. 80g) with an anodized aluminium case, the logger has a re-chargeable Lithium-Polymer battery with 900 mAh capacity. All recordings can be transferred quickly via USB interface to a PC or Laptop.

MSR165 - Shock Logger
MSR165 - The Shock Logger
Ideal for the measurement of acceleration, shock, impact, vibration and orientation.
Maximum performance in a tiny space! In addition to the features described above, the robust miniature data logger MSR165 is able to perform what must be a record breaking 1,600 acceleration measurements per second (e.g impact, vibrations) in all three axes, for up to 6 months. Shock monitoring is available for up to ±15g, with 32 samples already being recorded before the event has even occured.
The waterproof data logger allows monitoring of shock over a six months period, achieved through its extremely low power consumption, combined with a powerful, re-chargeable Lithium-Polymer battery.
Additionally, temperature, humidity, pressure, light and four analogue voltages can be recorded. Memory capacity for 2 million recordings is sufficient for capturing more than 10,000 impact events. Memory capacity, specifically for recording vibration, can be expanded significantly by using an SD card. All recordings can be transferred quickly via USB interface to a PC or Laptop. The small form factor, the five different measurement parameters and the capability of taking measurements over long periods of time make the MSR165 suited to the most diverse applications.
Measuring and monitoring these parameters is often essential and allows valuable conclusions about processes and procedures, whether for monitoring during transport of critical goods, performance increase and reduction of wear and tear on machinery, or for the rating of bearings and dampers, for noise reduction on motors or the detection of imbalances.

MSR255 - with LCD display
MSR255 - Miniature data logger with LCD display
The multi-function MSR255 is the first of the universal miniature data logger series to feature an integrated LCD display. It measures a choice of temperature, relative humidity, pressure, light and 3-axis accelerometer/position including fast peak detect. The logger features an individually configurable 4-line LCD display with backlight and can accommodate four additional analogue inputs.
When fully equipped the MSR255 comes with four high end sensors for temperature, relative humidity, air pressure and light, which can be either internally mounted or supplied as remote probes. Added to this is a highly sensitive sensor capable of measuring acceleration in all three axes including a fast peak function. A sample rate of up to 3200 readings per second for each axis allows the absolute maximum value to be stored once per second. This makes the MSR255 the ideal instrument for shock monitoring. The four additional analogue inputs with switchable power source can also trigger an alarm output turning the MS255 into a universal data logger with near limitless possibilities. Its versatility makes the robust data logger perfect for the most diverse recording and monitoring tasks, as required in museums or galleries, in food and paper industries, building management and HVAC as well as in the science and health sectors. Courtesy of its large internal memory -allowing storage of more than 2 million samples- long term measurements are no longer an issue.

World Innovation the size of a thumb: Miniature Data Logger MSR with Analogue Inputs
Being able to equip the MSR data loggers with analogue inputs offers not only measurement of temperature, humidity, pressure and acceleration, but recording and analysis of almost any measurement parameter in the world.
Log your own signals from any source
The new „MSR Analogue“ combines the advantages of the MSR145/165 (the MSR160 comes with analogue inputs as standard) with the use of industry typical analogue sensors/transmitters. Two (or four) analogue inputs can be used for many different conventional sensors measuring parameters such as light, pH, particles, flow, conductivity and speed to name just a few. The input configuration of the analog inputs can be freely chosen. In next to no time this opens new possibilities to the user in many different fields of application.
New features on this data logger also include an alarm output and an input that can trigger start and stop of the data recording.

When it comes to memory, MSR data loggers are unique due to their 2,000,000 data capacity. Yet, sometimes even this enormous limit can be reached when measuring fast occurring events (up to 1000 per second on MSR160 analogue and 1,600 per second on MSR165 shock).
To be able to measure such fast events over long time periods without compromising resolution, the MSR145, MSR160 and MSR165 data loggers can be supplied with an expansion slot for an off-the-shelf microSD card.
