The newly launched FARRAR appliances (including the ULT) have been designed and manufactured to meet ENERGY STAR standards. The laboratory refrigeration and freezer solutions are already ENERGY STAR certified and the FARRAR ultra-low temperature freezers (ULT) are pending certification. These solutions use SNAP/EU F-Gas compliant natural hydrocarbon refrigerants with low global warming potential (GWP).They have also undergone extensive accelerated life testing (ALT) and are manufactured in an ISO 13485:2016-certified, FDA-registered facility in full compliance with FDA 21CFR Part 820 (GMP).

Are these new products operated with forced convection?
Like the FARRAR® ULC series, the laboratory refrigerators and freezers also work with recirculated air. The FARRAR ULT uses the same cold wall technology as other ULTs on the market.When will these new products be available for purchase? What is the lead time for national and international orders?
FARRAR Laboratory Refrigerators and Chests and the FARRAR ULT are available now. The lead time for domestic orders is just a few days for in-stock materials and 3 weeks for configurable options. The lead time for international orders is less than 1 week for in-stock orders and 4 weeks for configurable options. Delivery will begin on January 2, 2024.
