Universal data logger MSR145
The award-winning MSR145 is the world's first miniaturized data logger with integrated temperature, humidity, air/liquid pressure, light and 3-axis acceleration sensors, which also has four analogue inputs for connecting external sensors. The small all-rounder stores over 2,000,000 measured values and is also available as a waterproof version.
For numerous measurement tasks in industry and research
Freely selectable measurement rates of up to 50 measurements per second guarantee seamless documentation of fast processes. For long-term measurements, the MSR145 can be equipped with a 1,000 mAh lithium-polymer battery, allowing data to be recorded for up to two years. The housing, battery, measured variables and number of sensors (internal and external) as well as additional analog inputs can be individually configured for the MSR145 data logger - so you only pay for what you really need!
Highlights of the MSR145:
- multifunctional data logger
- Large selection of sensors, batteries and housings
- memory for over 1 billion measured values
- Approved for air freight
- Up to 5 temperature, humidity, pressure, light sensors or strain gauges can be connected
- External pressure sensor for pressure detection of liquids such as water and oil

Basics of acceleration measurement
Basics of acceleration measurement
What is an acceleration data logger? How can vibrations be recorded? What is an impact or shock? What methods can be used to detect damage to transported goods caused by shocks? What does the "Fast Peak" function mean? And which MSR data logger is particularly suitable for which measurement task?
You can find helpful basic information on the subject of acceleration measurement here

What is the Fast Peak function?
The MSR145 measures at 50 Hz (50 measured values per second) as standard, which may not be sufficient for acceleration monitoring, as shocks, for example, occur very quickly. Using the Fast Peak function, it is now possible to record fast processes at 1 kHz (1,000 measured values per second) and to save the minimum and maximum values (peak) recorded in the measurement interval up to 50 times per second. This new extension of the MSR145 makes it possible to use the data logger for simple shock monitoring.
The MSR165 data logger is recommended for more demanding shock monitoring requirements, as it operates at a higher measuring frequency of 1.6 kHz, records every shock and thus provides the user with more detailed results. It can also record larger forces with its optional 200g sensor. The MSR165 also records 32 measured values before the shock event so that the history of the shock can also be viewed during a g-analysis. - +
What is the SmartCase housing and clip system?
The model versions of the MSR145, MSR160 and MSR165 data loggers are now equipped with a new aluminum design housing. This SmartCase housing has a clip system.Data can be read out and the battery charged by docking the clip precisely onto the four gold contacts on the top of the housing. The logger is then connected to the USB port via the clip. The dimensions and weight do not change compared to the previous version of the housing.
