Effective solution for reducing the cost of transport damage
Our shock indicators detect and indicate impacts. For example, they can be attached to fragile, sensitive or expensive goods during shipping. This ensures that sensitive and expensive equipment is handled carefully during shipping and that damage can be detected in the event of mishandling. The shock indicator provides a visual indication of whether the permitted G-value has been exceeded.
Our shock indicators are tamper-proof devices that turn bright red on impact. If the transported goods are subjected to violent impacts and shocks above the permissible G-value, the surface tension of the liquid is broken and it is released. This provides clear evidence of whether shocks have occurred during transportation that could have damaged the product. For the carrier, a shock indicator is also an effective reminder to handle the package properly and with care.

Which shock indicator do I need?
Our shock indicators are available in five different versions with different sensitivities for G-forces.
These are identified by different colors:
- Green = 100 G
- Orange = 75 G
- Red = 50 G
- Purple = 37 G
- Yellow = 25 G
To choose the right shock indicator for your application, two pieces of information are required: The size of your package (m³) and the weight (kg).

Recommendations for placing the shock indicators
Rule of thumb
- Always place labels on the right-hand side of the consignment.
- The heavier the consignment, the lower you should place the label
