How do I proceed with the initial installation of the system?
You create your account with your Credits card at saclient.com/redeem. Connect the AccessPoint to your network using the Ethernet cable supplied and connect the device to the power supply. As soon as the green LED lights up, log in to SenseAnywhere at www.saclient.com with your account and register your AccessPoint and your new Airo sensor. Remove the data logger from the holder, place it near the access point to activate it and put it back in the holder. The AiroSensor is activated and monitoring is started. - +
How is the software installed?
No installation is required to use the software. SenseAnywhere uses cloud-based software (SaaS). You will receive your login details when you order the system. Contact us for a pre-test! - +
What does "modular design" mean?
The modular design makes the system extremely flexible in small and large environments. Whether you need one data logger to monitor a single refrigerator or several hundred to monitor large systems, the SenseAnywhere system can be expanded as required, both at your location and across multiple locations.- +
I would like to add one or more data loggers to my system. How does this work?
Automatic detection of the data loggers when they enter the radio range of the AccessPoint.- Easy commissioning, configures itself, no manual connection necessary.
- No "pairing" of each measuring station necessary, as with WiFi, BlueTooth, Zigbee, for example.

I would like to use the data loggers without an existing WiFi environment (for example during transportation)
The GSM module is available for this purpose. It delivers temperature and humidity data to the cloud in real time via the GSM (cell phone) network. This means that data can also be sent and alarms generated when access to the internet is not possible, e.g. at remote storage sites, during transportation, etc.system

Is SenseAnywhere a real-time monitoring system?
Yes, the system records measured values at 5-minute intervals around the clock (24/) and sends alarms in the event of deviations or faults. This enables an immediate response in the event of limit value violations. - +
What radio frequency does the system work with?
ISM radio band with 868 MHz, a recognized and stable radio network.
868 MHz was chosen because this frequency has a better range than 2.4 GHz (WLAN, BlueTooth, ZigBee, DECT, radio remote control, etc.) with good penetration of ceilings and walls. ISM stands for Industry, Scientific and Medical, a regulated band designed for precisely this area. - +
How does the SenseAnywhere subscription system work and why do I need credits?
There are three requirement profiles (subscriptions): Standard, Pro and Enterprise.
You can find the differences between the various account levels in the comparison table on our software page. You need credits to use the SenseAnywhere system, to store the data from your data loggers, to receive automatic reports and to send e-mail messages, SMS messages and voice alerts. The use and storage of one data logger for one year consumes one credit (standard subscription). Notifications by SMS or voice alarms by telephone cost 1/40 credit each. Credits can be purchased from your sales partner.
Recharge credits automatically: Auto Recharge Credits
The "Auto Recharge Credits" function was developed to optimize and simplify the credit management process for you. We want to make sure that you always have a positive balance in your account so that you can use our platform and services without interruption. Until now, the customer management system has sent an email warning when credit terms end. Unfortunately, it often happens that these emails are not read or overlooked and the credits expire. This means that no more data can be accessed until the credits have been topped up again. This means that no complete data recording can be guaranteed. The Auto Recharge Credits system is an automatic system that monitors your credit balance and automatically adds credits to your account with a predefined amount as soon as the credit balance reaches zero or less. This eliminates the need for manual intervention and ensures that you always have sufficient credit to maintain your subscription license, send SMS notifications, receive voice alerts and use other credit-based features. Auto Recharge Credits thus ensures that your credit is never depleted without the need for manual intervention.

What is AssetTagging or what is an AssetTag?
In many areas, the climatic conditions of goods must be monitored in order to meet quality standards. The regulations require regular calibration of the temperature and humidity measuring devices used for monitoring. Currently, calibrations are usually carried out in (accredited) calibration laboratories at an external location and can take some time. In the meantime, you do not have access to the current temperatures of your goods, alarms and reporting functions. Because you want to give the authorities a temperature history of your goods without gaps in monitoring, you use SenseAnywhere AssetTagging. AssetTagging is the concept of linking a data logger to an AssetTag. It doesn't matter which data logger is linked to the AssetTag, and a data logger can be swapped with a recently calibrated data logger at any time. The entire monitoring system will continue to function as expected. This gives you a complete temperature history of your goods, even if one data logger is occasionally replaced by another.
AssetTags are small stickers that assign a serial number to a device to be monitored. The AssetTag is attached to the U-shaped holder of an AiroSensor and thus represents the measuring point. With AssetTagging, the key data stored in the SenseAnywhere database is linked to the AssetTag and no longer to the AiroSensor in the asset's holder. This links alarm and report settings and historical data to the device, and data loggers can be replaced from time to time for recalibration without downtime or additional administration. AssetTagging thus solves your recalibration problems.

What are the QR codes on the data loggers for?
The data (configuration & setting as well as historical measurement data) of each data logger can be displayed directly on site via smartphone using the QR code attached to the logger.
Data storage
- +
I need more information on data storage
- Database availability of 99.99% (Microsoft Service Level Agreement)
- Highly scalable
- Triple redundant database infrastructure
- Backups are created every 5 minutes and stored for 35 days
- Data centers in Europe
- Data storage of at least 5 and up to 15 years
- +
Where is my measurement data stored?
All SenseAnywhere data is stored in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. The sensor data is stored in a hyperscale Azure SQL database. Your sensor data is stored in a highly reliable infrastructure that is protected against hardware and power failures. You always own your data. Even if you cancel your subscription, your data can remain accessible for up to 15 years if you wish. - +
How secure is my recorded data in the event of a system failure, for example?
Thanks to their integrated data memory, SenseAnyhwhere data loggers offer a high level of data security, as there is no risk of data loss even in the event of a total system failure.
Battery
- +
How long does the battery of a data logger last?
The battery life of our data loggers is approx. 10 years. The advantages are lower costs, no effort for changing, fewer failures and a more sustainable solution. - +
Why is it not possible to change the battery?
To ensure that the data loggers work as precisely and reliably as possible, it is necessary to solder the battery firmly. This significantly increases the robustness and offers protection against data loss due to contact corrosion, mechanical or thermal shocks.
Calibration
- +
Is it necessary to (re-)calibrate the data loggers?
Experience has shown that the annual deviation in the accuracy of the AiroSensor data loggers is small. Calibration may be required depending on the applicable regulations
Guidelines
- +
Which internationally recognized compliance standards does SenseAnywhere meet?
Some examples of industry-specific compliance standards that the Microsoft Azure cloud platform used meets are ISO9001, FDA CFR Title 21 Part 11 and GxP. The database has a portal where ISO reports and certificates can be downloaded. - +
Does SenseAnywhere follow pharmaceutical industry guidelines and if so, which ones?
Yes, SenseAnywhere follows the rules of GAMP5 for all new software developments. GAMP5 describes a set of principles and procedures that help to ensure that pharmaceutical products are of the required quality. One of the basic principles of GAMP is that quality cannot be tested in one batch of a product, but must be built into every stage of the process. - +
Is the system compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11?
The system follows the FDA guideline, which is often used in the pharmaceutical environment, and ensures that no data manipulation is possible with electronic records and signatures. Including audit trail and user administration. - +
What alarm options are available?
