DataTrace® - insulated container To protect electronics and battery from excessive heat exposure
If the process you want to monitor exceeds temperatures of +140°C (the upper temperature limit of the Micropack data loggers), the electronics and battery must be protected from excessive heat. Depending on the application, you can choose one of the 10 different DataTrace® insulated containers (thermal protection containers).
These containers are designed to protect the logger body from the high temperatures, but expose the sensor itself to the environment being monitored. All containers work excellently in dry environments, most even in liquids such as hot oil. The containers not only protect against overtemperature (ambient temperatures up to +400°C), but also in extremely cold environments.

The ultimate in insulated containers - choose between three different Dewar containers with a diameter of 50 mm. The largest - model 3400 - protects your loggers from temperatures above +350°C for several hours.

Model 3175 - Slim design
When space is at a premium - e.g. in depyrogenation ovens - the Dewar Model 3175 with 30mm diameter is an excellent choice to give your Micropack III loggers the best possible protection.
