Technical Information
DataTrace response to temperature changes
How quickly a sensor responds to temperature changes can make a significant contribution to the accuracy of monitoring a process. Each temperature sensor needs a certain amount of time to reach equilibrium with the ambient temperature when the temperature changes and to display the correct temperature. Two terms are often used to describe such measurement analysis: Time constant and response time. They are often used interchangeably but do not mean the same thing.
