Gravitational forces on both the pilot or the driver as well as the vehicle itself are measured here. Recorded are the temperature and relative humidity of the pilot (sweating) in the cockpit, as well as g-forces and vibration or orientation. This allows evaluation of important data used to optimize materials and set-up.
Even search and rescue operations by helicopter use data loggers to be able to document that the transport of the patient has been appropriate.
