Case study Tehag Engineering AG
Tehag Engineering AG, which operates in the field of diesel emission management, offers products ranging from silencers, soot particle filters and SCR systems to complete exhaust systems for a wide range of different applications. Also on offer: PTL filter monitoring for exhaust gas purification, which is used, for example, in construction machinery, rail vehicles, ships, trucks, buses, stationary systems and special vehicles. PTL filter monitoring measures the exhaust gas temperature and the back pressure in front of the filter and was co-developed on behalf of and in collaboration with Tehag Engineering.
Depending on the vehicle type and application, an optional measuring probe for recording the speed can also be connected to the PTL filter monitor. In the standard version, the operating status is displayed via a 3-color LED, which is installed in the cockpit of the vehicle/machine. This allows the driver to immediately recognize any malfunctions and the loading status of the particulate filter and, if necessary, rectify them immediately. The device is equipped with a memory module as standard, which stores all measured operating data (temperature, back pressure, speed, alarm displays). The entire electronics are installed in an IP 65 die-cast aluminum housing and are therefore suitable for installation in the engine compartment or outdoors.
MSR basic module for soot particle filter monitoring
The basic module of the MSR data logger for soot particle filter monitoring is available from us and includes the special data logger for measuring differential pressure, temperature and speed, a separate LED and user-friendly PC software for data acquisition and analysis. In addition to the LED, the device can also be equipped with an LCD display for temperature and differential pressure. Various parameters can be set individually. If the speed is exceeded, this triggers an alarm and a safety shutdown is triggered by the data logger.
